Operation Forget Me Not Easter Blessings & Care Packages – Prayer Angels for the Military
Santa Clarita will be remembering their hometown troops overseas through the annual Operation Forget Me Not event hosted by Prayer Angels for the Military, Inc. The collection drive runs throughout the month of March. Businesses, schools, churches, organizations and community members of all ages are encouraged to participate.
Suzon Gerstel, CEO of Prayer Angels says, “Our local service members are like family.
We all love, appreciate and support them. We pray for their protection, strength and a safe return.” Getting a care package from their community, filled with goodies, cards and letters of appreciation and blessings is a huge morale booster that they can share!”
Most needed items: Individually packaged snacks – Jacks Beef & Cheese sticks, Jerky, Slim Jims, trail mix, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, granola and protein bars, cookies, chips, nuts, peanut butter (16oz plastic jars), Ritz crackers, hot cocoa and oatmeal packets, Top Ramen (not cup-o-soups), drink packets for water bottles (like Propel/Gatorade zero), specialty coffee (1 lb ground) is a treat, 3-4 blade razors, travel sz shave cream, body wash, stick deodorant, sm sz toothpaste, cotton crew socks med.
