SCV Relay Honors Cancer Survivors with a Dinner Celebration – American Cancer Society Relay For Life
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Santa Clarita Valley would like to cordially invite cancer survivors in our community and their caregivers to a celebration of hope. Relay organizers are hosting a dinner to honor cancer survivors and their caregivers on March 14, 2026, at the Canyon Country Community Center, located at 18410 Sierra Highway. Each survivor is invited to ask one caregiver to accompany them. Survivors and caregivers must register for the Relay For Life event (held on May 2). Go to scvrelay.org and click “Join this Relay.” Indicate whether you are a survivor or caregiver. You will then receive an email with instructions to RSVP for the dinner. The last day to RSVP is March 1, 2026.
The event promises to be uplifting for all. Relay For Life teams creatively decorate each table with festive table settings and inspirational keepsakes. The evening includes raffles, music, photo opportunities, and a motivating guest speaker. Food will be donated by local restaurants, and entertainment will be provided by the Saugus High School Choir and the Sande Strings Orchestra.
For businesses that are interested in partnering with the American Cancer Society to honor and support cancer survivors, sponsorship opportunities are available for the March 14th dinner. These range from $250-$3,000 and include donations such as raffle baskets, desert displays, and table sponsors as well as event sponsorships. To learn more about these opportunities and how your business can be highlighted at the event, please reach out to survivors@scvrelay.org
The Survivor and Caregiver Dinner is one of many events leading up to Relay For Life® of Santa Clarita Valley to be held on May 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road. With its theme of “Superheroes,” this free and family-friendly event features live entertainment, games, vendors, children’s activities, raffle drawings, food trucks, cancer awareness education, and loads of fun.
More than just a fundraising walk, the Relay For Life movement brings together passionate supporters who embody the American Cancer Society’s vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. If you haven’t already, you are invited to sign up and join a team or start one of your own at SCVRelay.org. And be sure to encourage cancer survivors in our community to attend the celebratory dinner in their honor!
