The Master’s University Preparing To Shoot 4th Feature Film – The Master’s University
The Cinema & Digital Arts (CDA) program at The Master’s University is currently working on its fourth feature-length film: a romantic drama titled, “The Echo of Us.”
The award-winning program, led by Prof. Matt Green, will film during spring break in March, with approximately 50 students serving alongside industry professionals in a variety of key roles.
The film will explore love, loss, and human design — addressing the modern age of artificial intelligence and clearly conveying TMU’s biblical worldview.
“We have the imago Dei, which no robot or AI has, or will ever have,” Green said. “But human-made creations can mimic that, which is very dangerous, because it confuses people about what it means to truly be human.”
TMU’s CDA program has previously produced “The Man From Nowhere,” “The Descent,” and, most recently, “The Descent Part II,” which after a small theatrical run is now set for release on Amazon and other platforms this spring.
Alumni and friends of TMU will have the opportunity to partner with the CDA program in bringing this latest creative project to life, as it will be produced largely through crowdfunding. You can learn more about TMU’s CDA program at masters.edu/cda.
