Wine Beer & Cheer Bringing Old Town Newhall to Life for a Powerful Cause 17th Annual The Wine Affair
On Sunday, April 12, Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley invites the community to celebrate one of the most anticipated spring traditions, the 17th Annual The Wine Affair. From 12:00 to 4:00 PM, Old Town Newhall will come alive with wine, beer and cheer as guests gather for an afternoon filled with tastings, live music, and connection, all in support of empowering women and girls locally.
This signature fundraising event offers the perfect opportunity to sip, savor & stroll through Main Street while sampling pours from local wineries and breweries, enjoying gourmet bites, and listening to live performances by multiple musicians and bands throughout the route. The atmosphere is festive, welcoming, and uniquely Santa Clarita, creating a relaxed and social experience that encourages guests to explore at their own pace.
Several beloved local businesses are already committed to participating this year, including Brewery Draconum, Pulchella Winery, Old Town Junction, Newhall Refinery, Eight & Rail, Salt Creek Grille, and Zushingazo, with more being added daily. Each stop will showcase its own tastings, entertainment, and personality, making every part of the stroll feel fresh and engaging.
Tickets are $75 per person and include tastings at participating venues along with live music throughout the afternoon. With convenient daytime hours from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, The Wine Affair is an easy and enjoyable way to spend a spring Sunday with friends while supporting a meaningful cause.
Beyond the celebration, The Wine Affair plays an important role in advancing the mission of Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley to improve the lives of women and girls through education and economic empowerment. Proceeds from the event benefit two flagship programs. Dream It, Be It helps young women build confidence, explore career paths, and set goals for their futures. The Live Your Dream Award provides financial assistance to women who are primary wage earners and are pursuing higher education or vocational training as a pathway toward economic stability.
For those looking to get even more involved, sponsorship opportunities are available and offer a powerful way to support this impactful mission.
The Wine Affair is more than a tasting event. It is a celebration of community, local businesses, and coming together for good. For tickets and sponsorship information, visit www.sigscv.org/the-wine-affair or scan the QR code.
