But the magic of The Wine Affair goes far beyond the tastings.
This signature annual fundraising event, brings together community leaders and supporters to raise critical funds that empower and educate women and girls locally. Proceeds support Soroptimist’s mission to address economic instability, limited access to education, and increased vulnerability to exploitation and human trafficking.
Every ticket sold and auction item bid on helps benefit two of SIGSCV’s flagship programs: Dream It, Be It, a mentorship program that helps young women build confidence, explore future career options, and develop the tools needed to make informed decisions about their futures and The Live Your Dream Award program which provides critical financial assistance to women who are the primary earners in their families and are pursuing higher education or vocational training as a pathway out of poverty and vulnerability.
In addition to the tastings and live entertainment, guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a curated live auction featuring an exciting collection of items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters. The auction will be hosted through Auctria, allowing guests to browse and bid directly from their phones. Even those who cannot attend the event in person can still participate and bid on auction items online, making it easy for the entire community to support the cause.
Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley would also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the generous sponsors and community partners whose support helps make The Wine Affair possible. Their commitment helps ensure the continued success of programs that empower women and girls throughout our community.
