The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – May 2026
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Sasha
Sweet senior alert! Sasha, 11, is full of love and ready for her forever home. She was surrendered to us because her family had too many dogs. Despite her age, Sasha has a playful spark and loves gentle cuddles, quiet walks, and being close to her people. Calm, affectionate, and ready to fill her golden years with love, she’s a must-meet if you have a soft spot for seniors. Could you be the one to give Sasha the forever home she deserves?
Fluffy
Fluffy has come so far since arriving in 2024! A rescue-only dog we pulled from Castaic, he was untrusting of people at first, but with love, patience, and consistency, he has blossomed into a volunteer favorite. At 4 years old, he’s the cutest mix of Golden and Spaniel and the perfect medium-sized pup at 35 pounds. We think the ideal situation for Fluffy would be an adult-only home, though other dogs may be possible and we can test. Ideally, his person would spend time with him here, really getting to know his personality before adopting. We always strive for the perfect match, not the quick one.
Holly
Holly calls our place home, and that’s just fine with us! She arrived 5 years ago after the rescue she was with had to close its doors. A longstanding volunteer favorite, Holly is quirky and a little set in her ways, but hey, aren’t we all? If adoption isn’t an option for you, you can still make a difference in Holly’s life by becoming a volunteer and spending time with her here at the Ranch or by becoming her monthly sponsor.
Peri-Peri
Peri-Peri gained a lot of attention as a rescue-only pup from Castaic back in December, and we’re surprised he’s still with us! He is about 9 years old and a sweet Brussels Griffon and Shih Tzu mix. While he lives here with other dogs, we think he would thrive in a home where he can be the one and only. He is doing great with all the volunteers he’s meeting, and once he knows you, he is as sweet as can be. All he needs is one special person to call his own.
Vera
Vera has been with us for nearly 2 years after living in several different homes due to divorce and hardship before being surrendered to the Castaic shelter and then labeled a rescue-only pup. She was understandably uncertain in the loud, chaotic environment of the shelter. Vera lives here happily with other littles and is adored by everyone who volunteers. She is the perfect mix of cuddles, energy, and silliness. This sassy, sweet senior is so deserving of a forever home. Could you be the person to give her the love she’s been waiting for?
Sonny
Sonny is bonded with Cher, and it only takes a minute to see why. These two are the friendliest, sweetest pups. Pulled from the Castaic shelter by a concerned citizen, fate intervened and they ended up here. Sonny is an adorable 13-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, around 2 years old. If you’re looking for built-in best friends who will fill your days with love and laughter, please consider giving Sonny and Cher their forever family.
Cher
Cher is bonded to Sonny, and these two are charmers who will immediately melt your heart. This inseparable pair was pulled from the Castaic shelter after which we were able to step in and welcome them here. Cher is also a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, around 2 years old, weighing 9 pounds. If you’re looking for a pair of loving companions to bring double the happiness into your home, please consider giving Sonny and Cher their forever family.
BB
BB is patiently waiting for just the right home where he can truly shine. He takes time to warm up to most people, but in a delightful twist, he seems to instantly connect with younger people and just vibes with their energy. He will need a patient family who will give him the consistency, love, patience, and kindness to become the amazing pup we know he can be. BB is happiest and content with kids and other small dogs. Come meet our pups! We set up appointments every day.
