Include Everyone Project SCV Announces “The Magic Within” Santa Clarita Valley’s Only Adaptive Performing Arts Summer Camp
The Include Everyone Project of SCV (IEPSCV) is thrilled to announce its upcoming summer camp, “The Magic Within” the Santa Clarita Valley’s only adaptive performing arts camp designed to empower individuals of all abilities through the joy of performance. “The Magic Within”, sponsored by California Credit Union, offers a unique and inclusive environment where participants can explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop performing arts skills in a supportive setting. This year’s camp promises two weeks of engaging activities culminating in a public performance.
Include Everyone Project of SCV is also excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Kevin Finklestein Scholarship, which is funded through generous community donations and may cover a family’s partial or complete registration costs.
Camp Details:
Jr. Stars Camp (Ages 3-5):
Dates: June 15 – 19, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
Cost: $75 for the week
Stars Camp (Ages 5 – Adult):
Dates: Families may enroll in one week or both weeks. Week 2 includes final performance on the 26th, with that day’s class being held at Newhall Family Theater.
Week 1: June 15 – 19, 2026
Week 2: June 22 – 26, 2026
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM daily
Cost: $125 per week
Location: The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center, 27745 Smyth Dr, Valencia, CA 91355
The camp will culminate in an exciting, open-to-the-public performance on Friday, June 26th, in the afternoon at the Newhall Family Theater, located at 24607 Walnut St, Newhall, CA 91321. This performance will showcase the talents and hard work of all “The Magic Within” campers. Campers of all abilities are welcomed — including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ADD, Downs Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring a caregiver, aide, or helper if needed at no additional cost to ensure full comfort and support.
“We are incredibly excited to bring our summer camp back to the Santa Clarita Valley,”says Kristen DeBenedetto the executive director of IEPSCV. “This camp is more than just performing arts; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging, celebrating unique abilities, and providing a platform for every individual to shine. We believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the magic of the stage.”
