The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – June 2026
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Sasha
Sweet senior alert! Sasha, 11, is full of love and ready for her forever home. She was surrendered to us because her family had too many dogs. Despite her age, Sasha has a playful spark and loves cuddles, walks, and being close to her people. Loads of fun, affectionate, and ready for her next chapter, if you have a soft spot for seniors you’ll want to meet Sasha.
Fluffy
Fluffy has come so far since arriving in 2024! A rescue-only dog we pulled from Castaic, he was untrusting of people at first, but with love, patience, and consistency, he has blossomed into a volunteer favorite. At 4 years old, he’s the cutest mix of Golden and Spaniel and the perfect medium-sized pup at 35 pounds. We think the ideal situation for Fluffy would be an adult-only home, though other dogs may be possible and we can test. Ideally, his person would spend time with him here, really getting to know his personality before adopting. We always strive for the perfect match, not the quick one.
Missy
This tiny 9-pound angel had her world turned upside down when her person passed away, and there was no one to take her in, but she’s safe with us now and absolutely thriving.
She’s 3 years old, dog-friendly, full of charm, and officially ready for her next big adventure: a forever home. Adopt her today!
Archer
We thought his stay with us would be temporary, but sadly, his person passed away, and no family was able to take him in. Archer is a 6-year-old, 18-pound sweetheart with a gentle heart and a deep love for people. He is best as an only dog and would make a wonderful addition to any home. If you’ve been thinking about giving a rescue pup a second chance, you must meet Archer. P.S. Lots of toys are part of the deal!!
Vera
Vera has been with us for over 2 years, after living in several different homes due to divorce and hardship, before being surrendered to the Castaic shelter and then labeled a rescue-only pup. She was understandably uncertain in the loud chaotic environment of the shelter. Vera lives here happily with other littles and is adored by everyone who volunteers. She is the perfect mix of cuddles, energy, and silliness. Could you be the person to give her the love she’s been waiting for?
Sonny
Sonny is bonded with Cher, and it only takes a minute to see why. These two are the friendliest, sweetest pups. They were headed to the Castaic shelter before fate intervened and they ended up here. Sonny is an adorable 13-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, around 2 years old. If you’re looking for built-in best friends who will fill your days with love and laughter, please consider giving Sonny and Cher their forever family.
Cher
Cher is bonded to Sonny, and these two are charmers who will immediately melt your heart. This inseparable pair was headed to the Castaic shelter before we were able to step in and welcome them here. Cher is also a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, around 2 years old, weighing 9 pounds. If you’re looking for a pair of loving companions to bring double the happiness into your home, please consider giving Sonny and Cher their forever family.
Peri-Peri
Peri-Peri gained a lot of attention as a rescue-only pup from the Castaic shelter back in December, and we’re surprised he’s still with us!
He is 10 years old and a sweet Brussels Griffon and Shih Tzu mix. While he lives here with other dogs, we think he would thrive in a home where he can be the one and only. He is doing great with all the volunteers, loves to play, and enjoys long walks. All he needs is one special person to call his own.
