Wolf-Dog Puppies Take Over Animal Tracks
Animal Tracks recently welcomed five unexpected new residents…wolf-dog puppies named Rebel, Rain, River, Menace, and Moose. And while they may currently look like fluffy little trouble nuggets with oversized paws and innocent faces, make no mistake…wolf-dogs are NOT domesticated pets and should never be casually bred or raised in typical homes.
These five came to Animal Tracks from a local situation where breeding conditions and documentation did not meet the standards needed for these animals to live safe, healthy lives. Taking in five wolf-dog puppies was definitely not on the sanctuary’s bingo card for 2026…but when animals need help, Animal Tracks steps in!
Now the real adventure begins!
These puppies are growing fast, eating a LOT, and already testing the patience of fences everywhere. To give them the life they deserve, Animal Tracks must build a brand-new enclosure and expand habitats designed specifically for wolf-dogs. Proper care requires secure space, enrichment, veterinary care, specialized diets, and experienced handlers who understand these intelligent and complex animals.
The sanctuary is asking the community for help through donations, sponsorships, food donations, and tours.
And honestly? Now is the PERFECT time to visit!
Right now, Rebel, Rain, River, Menace, and Moose are in peak puppy mode…full of clumsiness, oversized paws, playful wrestling matches, dramatic naps, and the kind of chaotic energy that somehow manages to be both adorable and exhausting at the same time.
Watching these puppies tumble over each other and explore the world around them is equal parts heartwarming and hilarious.
Animal Tracks may not have planned for five wolf-dog puppies…but these five little fluff balls clearly had other plans.
Schedule a tour to meet the puppies NOW…then come back in a few months when these fluffy little troublemakers turn into teenage chaos wolves! www.animaltracksinc.org
