Preparation is knowledge, and knowledge is power! In the quest to help people to be empowered, informed and prepared when faced with decisions of caring for an aging loved one, or as we are confronted with decisions regarding our own path, I will be taking the opportunity to host a new radio show on our local station AM 1220 KHTS called Aging with Power, Tuesdays at 11 a.m. Our first show will be Tuesday, January 12 so tune in! Although the show will focus on seniors, we begin aging at birth so we will, from time to time, address issues from the womb to the tomb. I will endeavor to have guests that can educate our listeners on an array of topics. Each show will always have the ability to receive callers with questions for my guest(s) during the broadcast as well. I hope to receive topic suggestions from our listeners, and I will secure subject matter experts to tackle tough issues. So please feel free to email me at myles@agingwithpower.com or scv@comfortkeepers.com with topics you would like to explore. Again, my desire is to have the show be as interactive as possible, both from the standpoint of callers during the show and topic suggestions from our listeners so please spread the word. Again, Tuesdays at 11 a.m. beginning January 12 on your Hometown Station, AM 1220 KHTS.
Aging is not a disease, it is a journey—do it with power!
