Saugus Speedway is proud to host a battle of the High School Bands on Saturday, February 20, 2010 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. (rain date will be February 27). The winner will take home a $300 cash prize!
Therefore, we are looking for budding star bands that deserve to be heard. Saugus Speedway is taking local High School band submission tapes, CDs and/or myspace band websites to see who will qualify to participate in the Battle of the Local Bands. We will be looking for six bands to battle it out on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Each band must have their own PA system and will perform a 30 minute set each.
This will be peoples choice voting, so obviously, its important for chosen bands to bring out friends and family for support and votes.
