Fillmore & Western Railway provide a nostalgic trip back in time for those who fondly remember the early days of rail travel. Besides being the location of many feature films and television productions, the trains are the setting for daytime excursions, weekday group tour trains, murder mystery dinners, Pumpkinliner trains, Day Out With Thomas™ event, Christmas Tree trains, Dinner with Santa trains, the North Pole Express, Margarita Madness trains, The Wine Express and many more special events throughout the year. The vintage 1930s and 1940s coach and dining cars have been restored to their original décor.
Daytime trains run every Saturday, rain or shine, through March. Beginning in April, the weekend scenic excursions run every Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday nights, Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is offered year-round. The theme for the lighthearted and comical mysteries changes monthly and all are hilarious entertainment, coupled with an excellent dinner prepared and served aboard a vintage moving train. A special Valentine-themed murder mystery, “The Love Train,” is always a crowd pleaser. It is scheduled for Saturday night on February 13.
