The Valencia High Band and Color Guard Boosters will host the first edition of Hold’em and Roll’em Sweetheart Poker and Bunko Tournament at The Plaza, 23710 Lyons Avenue in Newhall, on Saturday, February 17 from 5 to 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy dinner, raffles and a friendly night of competition as participants compete for cash and prizes.
“It’s exciting to offer the community something new, hip and fun for an evening out on the town,” says event organizer Teresa Todd. “What better way to enjoy Valentines than to treat yourself and significant other to a Saturday night event.”
Tickets are on sale now and you can have your tickets gift wrapped with a one pound box of chocolates.
“It’s a great way to show appreciation to someone during the Valentines season while supporting a good cause,” adds Todd. “So why not surprise a loved one with a seat at the table –— the poker or bunko table, that is!” Adds Todd, “All proceeds benefit the pride of our community and the pride of the Vikings Marching Band and Color Guard.”
