On Wednesday, March 3: “Reverse Mortgages” will be the subject of a presentation by Bank of America Reverse Loan Officers Maria-Esther Villanueva and Gonzalo Monje from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Activity Rooms one and two of the SCV Senior Center, located at 22900 Market Street in Newhall.
Other Consumer Lectures for March at the SCV Senior Center will be:
• Wednesday, March 17: Advance Care Planning and POLST (Physicians Orders for Life Sustaining Treatments) presented by Providence Health and Services Palliative Care Manager Barbara Whitlatch and Advance Care Planner Jonathan Urata.
• Wednesday, March 24: Providence Health and Services will present Dr. Amy Goff who will discuss Promoting Digestive Health and Reducing Chances for Colon Cancer. March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month!
• Wednesday, March 31: Mobile Dental Hygienist Donna Lombardi will discuss Oral Health and Our Wellbeing. Free toothbrushes, toothpaste, denture kits, and dry mouth kits will be distributed. Ms. Lombardi does home visits to the homebound elderly and those in nursing homes. Caregivers are also encouraged to attend this event.
