The 13th Annual National Groundhog Job Shadow Day was a smashing success, minus the fact that we got aother few weeks of winter.  The day consisted of 120 students, 40 businesses and 90 mentors who spent the day together.  Students learned the in’s and out’s of their interested trades while mentors were reminded of why they do what they do. Keynote speaker Jay Thomas, Park President of Six Flags Magic Mountain gave an exhilarating speech on leadership qualities as well as shared his story on how he made it to the top from humble beginnings of a ride operator.
Students also spoke about their experiences and how much they appreciated the mentors.13th annual 2.png
