Dr. Michael Corben has been practicing optometry since 1969. As a graduate of Southern California School of Optometry, he has received numerous awards for his achievements in the optometric field and recently completed a clinical trial for a new type of contact lens. Dr. Michael Corben is also very actively involved in several philanthropies in the Santa Clarita Valley.
His son, Dr. Joshua Corben has been practicing optometry since 2002. He has also been a guest lecturer at the College of the Canyons nursing school and performs vision screening on a regular basis at schools and within our community. Dr. Josh currently serves as the president of the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society Board and received the prestigious “Young Optometrist of the Year” award presented by the California Optometric Association because of his dedication to his patients, community and profession.
Corben Optometry is conveniently located on 23206 Lyons Avenue, Suite 102 in the Santa Clarita Medical Center in Newhall. Their hours are Monday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
