This month I’ll touch on new paints, tile grout, and tools for women!
Tidbit: Nifty new paints you should know about are magnetic paint – great for a kitchen wall to create order to schedules and calendars.  With dry-erase paint kids can draw wall art, and then erase it!  Chalkboard paint is another paint for wall space that can be used by the phone.  Kids love glow-in-the-dark paint for drawing stars and planets on their bedroom ceilings!
Tidbit: Cracked tile grout?  If you allow cracks between ceramic tiles to go unrepaired, water can enter the cracks and loosen the tiles or damage wallboard it’s attached to.  Use an awl to clean out old grout, then fill with silicone tile and tub caulk.  Consider if it may be necessary to re-grout the entire tiled area.
Tidbit: Tools are now available that are lighter in weight and smaller in handle size, to meet the demand for women electing to purchase tools and do household repairs on their own.  Many of these tools are available in pink!  A basic list of must-have tools include; pliers, hammer, steel tape measure, Phillips screwdriver, adjustable wrench, pipe wrench, utility knife, standard screwdriver, vise grip, hacksaw, and portable electric drill.
Tip: Take time to clear your home of possessions no longer needed and you’ll feel mentally refreshed in the process
