If you or a loved one are injured and need immediate medical care, here is what you should do:
If the injury is life threatening go to the emergency room.  If it’s not life threatening, come to Advanced Medical Care.

In the case of a broken bone, we have digital radiography.  Your bone’s image will be up on a computer screen within a few minutes of your arrival.  Then we can splint or cast or place your injured part in most any type of immobilization device.  For more serious brakes, we will burn a copy of your x-ray on a disc and make an appointment with an orthopedist for you.

If you have a small cut, we can derma bond the area.  This is special glue that sets up as a 3-D polymer to hold skin together and it’s painless.  For larger lacerations, we will administer local anesthetic with the utmost of care.  This will minimize your discomfort while we suture your wound.
So if you are unfortunate enough to have a real emergency, by all means go to the closest emergency room.  But for anything less serious, please do come and see us.  Appointments and walk-ins are welcome and we take most PPO Insurance.  We are located in the Smyth Medical Plaza across from the Valencia High School football field.  We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
