The Dancing With Our Stars was yet another huge success for Santa Clarita as the event raised just over $200,000 for our non-profit organizations! Nearly 600 guests packed the Century Plaza Hyatt Regency on Saturday, April 24 for the dance competition and fundraiser. Alex Hafizi and Riley Bennett danced for the Senior Center and took the first place prize, raising the most money. Second and third place was so close, we decided to award both with 2nd place trophies. Congratulations Harold Petersen and Brittany Petersen dancing for Soroptimist of Greater SCV and Kim Goldman and Willy Arroyo dancing for the SCV Youth Project. Jay Thomas and Ingrid Blanco came in 3rd dancing for the Single Mothers Outreach.
