Something is chasing you.  You run as fast as you can but, it keeps getting closer.  You try with all your might to scream for help, but you are unable to make a sound.  Your heart is pounding as you wake up hard.  You are drenched with sweat, disoriented and heavy with sleep.  You try to shake off the nightmare, but the unsettling feelings have left you feeling wobbly and weak.

What is this dream trying to tell you?  Would it surprise you to learn that the time of night dreams occur is significant?  If it is a middle-of-the-night dream, then it means something different than if it occurs shortly before waking in the morning

Your age in the dream, who or what appears, your emotional response to it and how you behave in the dream, are pieces of a fascinating puzzle that, once understood, can enhance your life immeasurably.

In Malaysia, the Senoi people base their entire culture on the dreams of the tribe.  They arm their children with imaginary weapons to fight whatever monster they encounter in their dreams and teach them to face the monster and defeat it.  They not only remember what they dream, but use that information to enrich their relationships, determine activities of daily life and even make artistic or mechanical objects seen in their dreams.  Interestingly, they have an absence of neuroses and psychoses in their culture.  They are free from worry, violence and fear, as we know it.
You too can learn to remember, interpret and direct your own dreams.  You can significantly diminish fear, anxiety and worry from your waking life by changing your behavior in your dream life.  Banish the nightmares and embrace your creativity, self-esteem and confidence.  Make your sleeping life as productive as your waking life by harnessing the power of your dreams.
