The Santa Clarita Sunrise Rotary Club sponsored a pancake breakfast for the residents of Greenbrier Mobile Estates to support their Emergency Preparedness Committee in raising the message of preparedness to the 320 Greenbrier Residents. 
Founded in Chicago in 1905, Rotary celebrated 100 years of service in 2005. The Rotary Foundation has awarded more than US $2.1 billion in grants, which are administered at the local level by Rotary clubs.
The Disaster Relief Rotarian Action Group (DRRAG) coordinates the 536 Rotary districts and 1.2 million members in relief and development services. To this end, the Disaster Relief RAG acts as the overarching policy and leadership framework intended to support and unify Rotarian involvements in relief and development activities – locally, regionally and worldwide.
DRRAG’s Purpose is to:
1. Save lives.
2. Alleviate suffering.
3. Stimulate recovery.
4. Mitigate the short and long term affects of hazards and to Support Rotarians, Clubs and Districts in assisting communities to:
1. Establish and maintain effective preparedness systems, programs and structures.
2. Provide timely and successful response to the consequences of a disaster.
3. Recover and rebuild after a disaster.
4. Help communities mitigate against the consequences of a disaster.
