I had the wonderful opportunity to sit and have coffee with Mark Nilan Jr., one of the musicians on Fox’s hit television series, Glee. Mark is a pianist, composer and producer. Born in Detroit, he moved west to continue his education, receiving his Master’s degree in jazz piano. Mark just released Hands On, his new CD containing 10 original songs, and is currently casted as the on-screen keyboard player for Glee. Maybe Today Was not a Fairytale, but it sure was a few months back for Taylor Swift fans Izzy Catalano and Lindsay Schindler! Valencia residents Izzy and Lindsay had the opportunity to spend a little time with the popular country singer/songwriter at Taylor’s Tea Party before her concert at the Staples Center. Izzy and Lindsay were also treated to a backstage tour by Taylor’s mom. Aside from Taylor’s popularity in the music world, she has also been seen on television and the big screen.
He plays Jacob Black in the Twilight film series and he’s one of America’s newest heartthrobs. Actor Taylor Lautner was seen at the Olive Garden in Valencia, and was nice enough to take a photo with Santa Clarita resident and fan Julian Bohan Mendoza.
