Fillmore & Western Railway Co. is celebrating their eighth year of producing “Search For the Headless Horseman” Family Dinner Trains. These special family dinner trains are schedule for October 15, 17, 22, 24 and 29. During the a 45-minute train ride to “Ichabog,” private pumpkin patch, passengers feast on a BBQ dinner, then after arrival, will hop on the hayride to “Search for the Headless Horseman.”
PumpkinLiners are a great way to celebrate Halloween, family-style with a 45-minute train ride to “Ichabog” every Saturday and Sunday in October. Upon arriving at the pumpkin patch, explore the hay maze, upside-down gardens and the corn fields, take a hayride, dance onstage to the music of our DJ, have lunch in the BBQ area, find that perfect Jack’O Lantern, hop on the carousel and browse the arts and craft vendor area, plus much, much more.
An extra special one-time-only spooktacular train ride is the “Ghost Train to the GhostWalk” on Saturday night, October 16. The trainride features dinner on the way to downtown Santa Paula. Ghostly characters will entertain passengers enroute and when they return to the train after the GhostWalk. Once in Satna Paula a docent will guide passengers on a tour of GhostWalk, where they will meet the dearly departed who tell their tales of death, at least those that know they have departed this world.
