While there are many variables that can affect the outcome of your outing, this article will briefly address the gear that can improve your odds of survival or simply make your trip that much more enjoyable. Sticking to a plan, and making friends and family aware of that plan, including when you will be expected back, is key. But let’s get to the gear.
