All for a Great Cause!
On Monday, July 30th the Domestic Violence Center of the Santa Clarita Valley will host their inaugural Golf Tournament and Auction at Robinson Ranch Golf Course, with Title Sponsor Time Warner Cable.
Bob Kellar, City of Santa Clarita City Council Member, and Chris Fall, Immediate Past Chair of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce, have been named honorary co-chairs of the event set to kick-off with a shotgun start at 10:00 am. The event will include a live and silent auction, tournament festivities, a barbeque lunch, dinner and an awards ceremony, lots of fun and more.
The event has already enlisted the support of many prominent folks including prior Dodger shortstop and former Dodger manager Bill Russell, who has graciously agreed to play golf for the Center and is donating a special, “Evening with Bill Russell for Four,” which will include home plate tickets to a Dodger game with Russell.
The Domestic Violence Center is currently accepting single player and foursome registration for the July 30th Golf Tournament as well as sponsorship opportunities for the event. Registration is available online at www.DVCSantaClarita.com .
