Hi, I’m Hal Monheim, the owner of Palmdale Glass for the past 24 years. I’ve also lived in Santa Clarita for the same twenty-four years. I’m proud to call Santa Clarita my hometown. Most days I commute “up the hill” to Palmdale but I do get to spend quite a bit of my time working with customers in the Santa Clarita Valley.
At Palmdale Glass our entire crew takes great pride in a job well done. As the owner, I decided years ago that my daily job would be working as much as I can directly with our customers. Our day-to-day operational duties are handled by a team of long term key people that really do a wonderful job.
I get the fun job! My responsibilities are to work directly with as many of our customers as I possibly can and manage our sales team. I love it! I enjoy helping customers select shower enclosures, mirrors, windows and doors. I enjoy training our sales staff to never be pushy and always be patient and helpful. For some people this may seem mundane or boring but not for me. I truly am a people person and enjoy every interaction.
A large portion of our business comes from Santa Clarita. Being a local resident I get to “run into” customers every where I go. Out to dinner, at the movies or to the mall, there they are. It’s always great fun to see old customers and hear how happy they are with our work. It’s a fabulous feeling to see people that are really pleased and satisfied with my company. Customers are what run our business and their satisfaction is our number one goal. Some of our customers I have gotten to know pretty well as we have done multiple projects for them over the years. These are especially enjoyable to see as we share stories about our children, our families and our lives. I love every minute of it!
