Up to this point, The Poached Pair has been a strictly catering bakery, making deliveries all over the Santa Clarita Valley and even as far as San Francisco. But we are excited to announce the impending opening of our flagship store in Downtown Newhall early this year!
As a pair, we are lovers of great food. We prefer simple food done right – fresh, flavorful, and made with care! We specialize in scones, cookies, cupcakes, and more, all of which are baked fresh from scratch each day. Our scones are something special—buttery, flakey, and perfectly moist. Our cookies are not your run-of-the-mill flat cookie, they start off in a ball shape and retain some of that shape after baking. And our cupcakes are full of flavor, moist, and frosted with just the right enhancement.
We plan to offer a rotating selection of flavors each day (to be announced via Facebook and Twitter @ThePoachedPair), and we will continue to accept special orders with 48 hours advance notice. Bright and sophisticated, with comfortable seating and Wi-Fi, we look forward to The Poached Pair becoming a destination to relax and enjoy, as well as a savior for those last-minute sweet tooth cravings and baked necessities.
Upon the opening of our flagship store, we are also excited to expand even further by providing our sweet and savory treats to other local businesses such as coffee houses and wine bars.
