We need your help. On May 23, J.R.’s Comedy Club is producing the second annual Celebrity Golf classic, benefiting the Santa Clarita Homeless Shelter. This is the most fun-filled golf tournament you will ever play in. Each foursome will play with a professional comedian. At the end of the tournament, there will be a Gala banquet and Comedy show. We need your help to recruit golfers, sponsors, donations, and volunteers. I promise this will be a fun and rewarding day. In March, J.R.’s Comedy Club will have another amazing line up of hilarious comedians.
March 4 and 5 we will have Kivi Rogers, one of our favorites. Kivi has been on The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, and HBO. His act is clever and clean, and his material about his father being cheap, is some of the funniest ever.
March 11 and 12 we will have the long awaited return of Bruce Baum. Bruce is a best selling author, and has appeared on hundreds of television shows. Also appearing is another headliner, Laurie Kilmartin, who is a writer for The Conan O’Brien Show, and was a finalist on Last Comic Standing.
March 18 and 19 we have local favorite Brandon Gibson, who has his own special coming out on Comedy Central any day!
Finally on March 25 and 26 we have Anthony Griffith from The Tonight Show. This is another clean and hilarious show.
We have a fundraiser coming up for The Brittney Foundation on April 1, and all sorts of fun events coming your way.
