On May 23, we will be having the second annual J.R.’s Comedy Club Celebrity Golf Classic. We had a blast last year, and this year’s tournament should be bigger and better! All proceeds benefit the Santa Clarita Homeless Shelter, which unfortunately just had its busiest year ever. This shelter provides food and a warm bed for the less fortunate among us right here in Santa Clarita.
This will be the most fun you have ever had on a golf course. Each foursome will play with a nationally known celebrity comedian. After the fun on the golf course, there will be a gala banquet, dinner and comedy show.
We need the community support to make this a success. You can help by showing this to all of the golfers you know. We also need donations for the auctions, and volunteers.
Even if you don’t golf, you can attend the dinner and show, and know your are helping out a great cause right in your community.
J.R.’s Comedy club also has a terrific lineup of comedians for April.
On April 1, we are having a special fundraiser for the Brittney Foundation, which finds homes for unwanted dogs. Our comedians for April 1 and April 2 are Collin Moulton who just filmed his first Showtime Special, and Drake Witham from The Craig Ferguson.
On April 8 and 9 we have the very funny Dan Grueter and Tom McClain.
April 15 and 16 we bring back club favorite Mike Marino, “New Jersey’s Bad Boy.” If you are Italian or married to an Italian, or if you like Italian food, you don’t want to miss this show. Also on the bill is cliff Yates, the comedy cop. He is a real life cop as well as a very funny comedian.
April 22 and 23 we have Rob Brackenridge and local favorite Marty Ross.
Finally on April 29 and 30 we end the month with a bang with Rob Little and Chris Edgerly. This is a double headliner show you will not want to miss.
