Going All in For a Great Cause

Poker enthusiasts came out to support the wonderful women of Soroptimist International Santa Clarita Valley on Saturday, May 7.  The night began with delicious food provided by Marcos Catering and rockin’ music by Danny Diaz and Band.  Players enjoyed tournament Texas Hold’em as well as Blackjack throughout the night.  Prior to the official start of the Blackjack Tournament, dealers indulged players with a few rounds of “free” play.  Boy was that a hit!!
The laughter could be heard from across the room and the excitement was contagious.  It was a wonderful night of fun and friends, all while raising money for a fantastic cause.
Congratulations to all the “big dogs” for going the distance.  Taking home the grand prize of the evening was Ramon Fabregas, winning a $1,500 seat in the World Series of Poker along with a two-night stay at the Rio in Las Vegas.
