Blue Heat Blanks Rush Santa Clarita stays on top of Western Conference with 3-0 win

Traveling to Colorado for their first matches of the season with the Rush and Force, the Santa Clarita Blue Heat maintained its Western Conference lead with a 3-0 win over the Rush today at Valor Christian High School. With only eight minutes ticked off the clock, Ann Marie Tangorra netted the first Blue Heat goal off of a pass from Team of the Week midfielder Edite Fernandes.  Nearly 10 minutes later, Tangorra offered Fernandes a nice cross for the second goal of the game and Fernandes’ fifth goal of the season.  Then, Janet Mendez scored the third goal off of another Fernandes assist.
