Hundreds gathered to support Tom Bolewski at the 4th Annual Blues Festival and BBQ in the Park on Saturday, June 4. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of delicious foods, a car show, kids zone, fire truck rides, raffles, vendors and more at the beautiful Mountainview Park in Santa Clarita. Southern California’s hottest blues bands such as Triple Threat, Susan Rey Band, Wumbloozo, Kelly’s Lot, Bob Malone Band, Toni Dodd & Southbound Blues, Michael John & The Bottom Line performed throughout the day. Teresa James served as the Mistress of Ceremonies.
Tom was injured in an accident in the beginning of 2008, suffering from spinal cord injury at C4 and C5 which caused him to be classified quadriplegic. His recovery has been long, painful and expensive, but friends and relatives have planned events to help the family. Proceeds of the event benefitted the Tom Bolewski Special Needs Trust.
