Can you believe it? “I got dumped!” Again. This just goes to show that women are not the only ones that get dumped. Do you ever wonder why this happens? I have, and there are so many different reasons why this can happen. Sometimes it is very easy to explain. Then there are other times when you just don’t see it coming, and get blindsided. I have had a few of these, and I wanted to share one in particular. Some time ago I met this very nice lady, “of course.” It started off well enough. We met for coffee, and had a great time. I called her the next day, and a few days later we met for dinner. That went great too, so a couple days later we go to the movies. I let her choose the movie, and yes, it was a girly flick. Afterwards we got a little closer, but not to worry it was just a little kissing and I was starting to become very attracted to her. I called her over the next few days, but, all of a sudden I got the cold shoulder. So now I am thinking this is over, but why is it over? I could not figure out what I did wrong. Normally, I would just let it go, but I really wanted to find out what happened.
I called her again, and decided to just ask her what I did wrong, so I could hopefully improve myself in the future. What she told me next shocked the heck out of me. The first thing she said was that I did nothing wrong, and that she had fun with me. Then she says that I am a really nice guy, but that she deserved better. Wow that hurt a little. It also upset me, too. You start to think someone is worth investing in, then find out she is only looking for a “Sugar Daddy.” This was such a wake up call to be sure this was not an isolated incident. I have had a few dates like this, and yes, I know there are a lot of women who are not like this. So now when I date, I am pretty much an open book, and will answer almost any question. Because I want to know right away what they are looking for. Now I am not passing judgment on anyone, if you want a sugar daddy, or momma, that’s up to you. I have already found out that dating just for the sugar is not as sweet as some people think.
