There’s a new concept in town! The Poached Pair provides a rotating menu of scones, cookies, cupcakes, and more, baked fresh every morning. We close in the afternoon when everything is sold out, and if there are a handful of leftovers, we donate it to the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita. Our website has the entire menu, and each day’s available selection is posted on Facebook and Twitter by 6 a.m., then our doors open at 7:30 a.m.! Call us early to hold your selection before it sells out, or place a special order a day or two in advance (large orders require more notice).
Baking sweet and savory items, we use our own organically grown vegetables and herbs whenever possible, and visit a local farm stand on a daily basis for other items.
Our scones are like no other – light and flaky, full of flavor, so good they don’t even need Devonshire Cream or jam. All of our cookies are family tried and true – with a little crunch on the outside, and a soft, tender inside. And each of our cupcakes is topped with their own, perfectly matched frosting.
We even bake things specifically to pair with wine! Parmesan Thyme Crackers are the perfect little morsel with a glass of champagne. Our spicy Mole Biscotti and cupcakes pair beautifully with red wine or even dark beer. And smear some goat cheese on our Rosemary Currant Biscotti and serve with white wine for a delicious warm weather appetizer.
We service wholesale and corporate accounts, and welcome more! Complimentary Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and music filtered inside and out on our patio, The Poached Pair is a relaxing retreat to spend some time in, and the perfect place to quickly stop in and grab a treat.

The Poached Pair is located at 22722 Lyons Avenue, Suite 1 in Newhall (in the Yellow Victorian Building). We are open at 7:30 a.m. every day, closing around 4:30 p.m. during the week, and 3 p.m. on the weekend.
