Annual Michael Hoefflin Foundation Fundraiser to Feature Performance by Motown great, Louis Price of Temptations Fame. The night skies will sparkle on September 24 as the Michael Hoefflin Foundation presents its annual Evening Under the Stars, Gala Dinner and Charity Auction, this year featuring a headline performance by Motown great, Louis Price, formerly of The Temptations. The gala will return to the spectacular outdoor setting of Mann Biomedical Park with festivities beginning at 6 pm. The evening, which for 18 years has been one of the most widely anticipated charity events in the Santa Clarita Valley, will include a sumptuous dinner catered by Salt Creek Grill, and the opportunity to bid on sought-after auction items.
The event is the major fundraiser for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, whose mission is to provide support to children and their families facing the emotional and financial difficulties of pediatric cancer.
Following the auction activities, guests will be treated to the musical talents of Louis Price, formerly lead singer for The Temptations. His multi-faceted career not only includes this iconic group, but also The Drifters. His voice has been heard on soundtracks for a wide array of television shows and movies, and is known for his charismatic live performances.
“We were fortunate to get Mr. Price; he’s a phenomenal entertainer, and will be singing some of the great Motown classics that we all know and love. Evening Under the Stars is a beautiful event that people look forward to all year, and is key to the work of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation. I can’t wait for September 24 to be here,” said Edward Lin, Executive Director of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation.
