Summer Showdown was a huge success thanks to all the sponsors, golfers, volunteers and TPC! The event sold out in just three short weeks with a waiting list! Returning title sponsor Lockheed Federal Credit Union has supported this event since its inception!
Over 70,000 dollars was raised to help support the many vital programs at the SCV Senior Center like Home Delivered Meals, Adult Daycare, The Visually Impaired, Handyworker, recreation and education! It was a beautiful day on the challenging private course of TPC of Valencia. Players enjoyed food on the course provided by Salt Creek Catering, Chikfila, Egg Plantation, Gandolfo’s and Bake U Happy and spirits by The Drink Dr., Spartos, Rhona Jukes and Pam Ingram, Budweiser and US Foods. First Place team and returning champions: John Heyes Team, second place team was The City of Santa Clarita and third place went to FPK Security. Each golfer was treated to a $50 gift certificate to the Nike tent and a $50 Callaway gift card from Power Chevrolet Valencia and can you believe it… two hole in one shots happened! Each lucky golfer received an amazing prize from Power Chevrolet!
It was a great event and golfers were already asking for more information on next year’s event.
