A Commitment to Students and Community – Reza Rassool
As College of the Canyons continues to prepare students for an evolving workforce, strong and accountable leadership is essential. Reza Rassool is running for the College of the Canyons Board of Trustees, Area 1, with a commitment to transparency, student success, and meaningful community engagement.
A Santa Clarita Valley resident for more than 30 years, Rassool understands the important role College of the Canyons plays in creating opportunities for local students and strengthening the region as a whole through dependable, accessible public education. His campaign emphasizes restoring trust across the campus and community while ensuring that decisions are made openly, responsibly, and with the best interests of students in mind.
Rassool believes students should have access to the education, training, and support they need to thrive in today’s emerging labor market. By keeping student needs at the center of board decisions, he hopes to help the college continue providing relevant academic programs, career preparation, and pathways to long-term success.
His candidacy has received support from students, full-time faculty, teachers, and staff, reflecting a shared desire for leadership that listens to the people who experience the college every day. Rassool says he will bring a collaborative perspective to the Board of Trustees and remain attentive to the voices of the entire College of the Canyons community.
Area 1 voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots on November 3. To learn more about Reza Rassool, his priorities, and his campaign for College of the Canyons Board of Trustees, visit trusteevote.com.
