The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – November 2026
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Frank
Frank is a senior sanctuary pup with a big fan club! He arrived at the Ranch 4½ years ago as an owner surrender, partially paralyzed and incontinent due to a spinal condition. More recently, he has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, too, but he continues to be a happy-go-lucky pup who brings smiles to our faces every day. Frank needs ongoing veterinary care, medication, and plenty of TLC to keep him feeling his best. Become Frank’s sponsor and help us continue to give this beloved guy the happy, comfortable life he deserves!
Bonny
Bonny won’t be the right fit for every home, but the right home could make all the difference. She is a Central Asian Shepherd (Alabai), an ancient livestock-guarding breed known for loyalty, independence, and strong protective instincts. At about 3 years old and weighing approximately 150 pounds, she is an impressive girl with needs that make finding the right home a challenge. Bonny is used to toys, soft bedding, and protection from the elements, and she needs a home that will continue providing these comforts. Our wish for Bonny is simple: a person who understands her, a place where she can thrive, and a future filled with the comfort and care she deserves.
Peri-Peri
At 10 years old, Peri-Peri is a one-of-a-kind little guy with a big personality and a mind of his own. He loves his walks, spending time with his favorite volunteers, and sharing his affection with people who understand him. Peri-Peri can be a little protective of his prized possessions, and we’re working with him every day to help him feel more at ease. He’ll need to be your one and only dog, and he appreciates people who understand his quirks and let him be himself. Could you be the special person who loves him just the way he is?
Vera
Vera has been through at least five homes that we know of, plus time at the Castaic shelter. Now a senior, she’s still waiting for someone to choose her and make her part of the family. Vera does well with calm dogs and thrives with a consistent routine. She’s loving, loyal, and ready for a fresh start. This Thanksgiving, let’s give Vera something to be truly thankful for: a person who chooses her and never lets her go.
Wally
Wally may be cute as a button, but he’s a guy with big feelings who needs experienced caregivers and a predictable routine to feel safe. Traditional adoption isn’t the right fit for him, so we’re committed to giving him the lifelong care he deserves here at the Ranch. Would you consider sponsoring Wally? Your support helps cover his daily needs and ensures he has everything he needs to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. For Wally, The Ranch isn’t a stepping stone to another home. It’s home.
Holly
Holly has called The Brittany Foundation home for five years, and she’s quite happy with that arrangement! A longtime volunteer favorite, this quirky girl has a personality all her own and knows what she likes. Holly has a home here for as long as she needs it, but she can always use a few more people in her corner. This Thanksgiving, consider becoming her sponsor or volunteering to spend time with her at the Ranch.
Sonny
Sonny may be his own little guy, but where there’s Sonny, there’s Cher! This 13-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix is around 2 years old, full of love, and always ready to charm you. He and Cher have been through a lot together, from the Santa Clarita shelter to a boarding facility, and now they’re ready for their next adventure. The catch? They come as a package deal! Sonny wouldn’t be Sonny without Cher by his side, and they’re looking for a family who will love them both.
Cher
This sweet 2-year-old Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix is all about love, cuddles, and sticking close to her favorite guy, Sonny. She and Sonny have stuck together through a lot, and now they’re looking for a family to share all the fun, cuddles, and everyday adventures ahead. After all, you can’t have Sonny without Cher! These two are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. The best gift this Thanksgiving would be a family who loves Sonny and Cher as much as they love each other.
