This has been quite a year. Everyone knows someone who’s lost their job, or their house–or their job and their house. It’s been tough. And, it seems like when things are tough in the economy, it puts extra stress on relationships. Marriages start to struggle. Things start to seem like they’re unraveling all over.
In our church, lots of folks are hurting. That’s why this year we’re really focusing in on people—what they need. We can’t fix the economy or for that matter, a marriage—but we can give people hope that even during tough times, God’s love is real and His promises are true. As a church, we’ve been focusing a lot this past year on who God is and what it means to us. As a result, we’ve seen our faith stretch and grow. It’s made us ready to face what comes with the hope that while so much is changing, God remains the same. We believe in a God who still does miracles!
