More than six years ago I watched the LA WineFest come to fruition after much anticipation, hard work from many, and yes, even some nerves. Last year, I found myself in that same position again as I introduced the Santa Clarita WineFest. To my delight, it was received positively and we were invited back. It is now with great delight, anticipation – and yes, even still some nerves — that I return with the Second Annual Santa Clarita WineFest on March 3, 2012, this time at Bridgeport Marketplace.
My biggest hope for you this year is to discover something new, be it a wine, beer or limoncello. There are more than 25 gold and silver medalist wines being poured. We have special programs on topics ranging from Italian and Spanish wines to Scotch to Sake. A rich assortment of food trucks and lifestyle exhibitors round out the experience.
And of course, there are wines to explore for every palate. Talk to our winery representatives, who all want to share their passions with you. Bottom line, have fun.
