Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care better known as MTFC is an evidence based program designed to provide a temporary home to adolescent youth ages 12-17 that are in need of assistance with reunifying with their families of origin. It is our goal at Penny Lane to provide these youth with equipped foster parents who are able to best meet their needs.
The MTFC program is comprised of a treatment team that surrounds the foster parents and the youth to insure their needs are being met. Within the program each youth is provided therapeutic services to assist them in meeting their goals. The program supervisor oversees each treatment team member to insure that key behaviors are being targeting to improve those behaviors that are standing in the youth’s way of success. We are also committed to the support of our foster parents. The MTFC program supervisor is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all foster parent questions, concerns, and possible crisis. The on call system is designed to provide foster parents with reliable support to deal with adolescent behaviors.
It is our goal to find positive, supportive, and caring adults who want to work with youth and give back to their community in a unique way. While being a foster parent may not be the most glamorous way of giving back to your community it will make the biggest difference. As a foster parent you will have the unique ability to assist a child in reaching their full potential. With the support and camaraderie amongst the foster parents within the weekly meetings you will feel apart of a unique and diverse community.
Becoming a foster parent is a unique experience that will prove to be rewarding and we at Penny Lane Centers ask that you join us in the rewarding endeavor.
