Honoring Jeri Bronstrup

Jeri Bronstrup, owner of Way Station Coffee Shop, passed away in December to heart complications.  Way Station Coffee Shop has been a landmark of Old Town Newhall since 1971. On Saturday, March 17, friends, family and community members gathered at the Way Station Coffee Shop for a memorial celebration of Jeri’s life.  “We had a really good turnout,” states daughter in law Michelle Vargas.  “It was a huge loss to the community and we wanted to have the memorial for people who couldn’t go to her private funeral.  A City Representative honored us with a certificate in Jeri’s name.  She will truly be missed.”
