Thank you for all your celebrity sighting submissions. I always enjoy reading the emails and seeing you snap a photograph with some of your favorite celebs. Santa Clarita is indeed Hollywood’s backlot, and while many come to our great town to peruse through the mall, attend exciting events or indulge at a delectable eatery, it’s no doubt, they’re here, and it’s no surprise many reside in this great city we call “home”. I had the awesome opportunity to sit and chat with the talented Devin Bronson for élite Magazine. Devin has toured all over the world with superstars like Kelly Osbourne, Avril Lavigne and is American Idol’s David Cook. He’s opened for international star Robbie Williams as well as bands like Sum 41 and and Lights Over Paris. How can you not recognize our next celebrity. While he stands at just a few inches shy of seven feet, his stature isn’t the only thing that sets him apart from the rest. Earvin “Magic” Johnson is one of the most recognizable athletes in basketball and the NBA today. Magic sported the number 32 on his jersey while playing point guard and forward for the Los Angeles Lakers. He has multiple MVP Awards, made an appearance in 9 NBA Finals, 12 All Star games and 10 All-NBA first and second team nominations. He was also a member of the Dream Team, representing the United States basketball team in the 1992 Olympics…to which he took home a gold medal.
Magic Johnson was a keynote speaker at the B2B Conference and Industry Show for the Valley Industry Association on March 1, at the Hyatt Valencia. He was kind enough to take a photo with Sue Nevius, General Manager at La Quinta Inn & Suites.
