Hello comedy fans! Thanks for making this year one of our best ever. We have a lot going on this month, starting with April 6 and April 7, when we have Pete George. Pete was mistakenly put into class for the learning disabled when he was a child, and has made a career out of talking about it as an adult. He combines comedy with music, and does world-class music parodies as he takes on different characters in his act. Also on the bill is Marc Ryan, a Santa Clarita resident who has his own cable television show and has performed on Comedy Central. Marc is a national headliner and is eager to perform to his hometown fans.
April 13 and 14 we have another favorite from Stevenson Ranch, Jackie Flynn. Jackie has been in nearly every Farrelly Brothers movie, including Kingpin, Stuck on You, and There’s Something About Mary. He has been on Comedy Central, and HBO. He also made the cut at the latest PGA Pro Am event at Pebble Beach. Also on the bill is Dana Eagle who makes us laugh while talking about being bi-polar. She has been on Comedy central, Showtime, and Last Comic Standing.
On April 20 and 21 we have club favorite Karen Rontowski, who just did her first David Letterman appearance and knocked it out of the park. She does clean clever observational material about relationships, and her parents coming to visit. She is fantastic. On the bill with Karen is the lovable Tom McClain who has two new babies, which give him a wealth of material. He has recently been featured on the Dr. Phil television show.
Finally we close out the month on April 27 and 28 with the hilarious Phil Perrier, who is a writer for Jay Leno. Phil is one of the most brilliant writers in the business. He talks about taking up surfing at 40 years of age, and breaking his neck. He has struggled to recover, but has maintained his humor against all odds, and is an inspiration to all of us. Also on the bill is Tyler Boeh, one of the funniest young comics to come to LA. This is an awesome show!
