ACTION Family Counseling Drug and Alcohol Treatment programs is and has been a beckon of light for the community of Santa Clarita for years offering a variety of support as an alcohol and drug treatment program.
ACTION’s Founder and President Cary Quashen is always looking for new ways to make a bigger difference with his organization and he believes that he has found one through a partnership with Alex Urbina; a well respected Transformational Family Life Coach.
Alex Urbina is one of the leading experts in transformational trainings for teens, parents and families; his experiential workshops and seminars help people discover for themselves their own personal power and exercise that power to make positive changes in their lives.
Appointed as the new Director of Training and Education for ACTION, Alex will be creating an assortment of training programs for the community; to introduce and further their self-education and personal development.
“I really like Alex’s passion, he has a big vision and he genuinely cares about people and that speaks volumes about his character, we share a similar vision and are mutually committed to improving the quality of life for people,” says Quashen.
Action Family Counseling is very excited to bring Alex’s innovation with personal growth, to offer pro-active programs to the community of Santa Clarita and surrounding areas.
“What makes these workshops so powerful and unique is that they open up possibilities for people to improve their life, in a way that they were unable to do before. I am honored to be a part of the Action team, I have always believed that behind an organization that is creating extraordinary results, you will find a team of extraordinary people running it, and that is exactly the experience I have with the Action Family,” says Urbina.
Urbina believes that everyone has their own answers and the solutions to their own issues deep within them; he says that his trainings create the permission, the love and the inspiration for people to seek and discover it. He says the hardest part is getting people to have the courage to want to show up and experience it for themselves.
“We want to give back to the community by offering preventative solutions to drugs, alcohol and behavior problems well before they get to that point, especially for the teen population. We believe that what Alex creates in his training room, combats the insecurities that cause people to self medicate and act out in the first place, said Cary Quashen. Alex’s trainings give people a strong sense of self, significance and fulfillment; it’s a perfect partnership and another tool to help us with our vision to save lives and empower people to live prosperous.”
