The 2011-2012 school year has proved to be an especially exciting one for us here at Golden Oak Adult School. In addition to new course offerings and expansion of our more popular ones, Golden Oak now enthusiastically sponsors a 17 piece jazz band that provides affordable concerts at West Ranch High School, with the next performance slated for June 9 at 7:30 p.m. We have also enhanced our Vocational/Career Technical education classes and have added new certificate classes.
Our partnership with Boston Reed Medical College promises to be another great option for those interested in pursuing a career in the health care field. Our perennial popular business classes, which include Excel, Microsoft Word, and Accounting and Quick Books, have been greatly expanded to meet ever-growing demand. Although the current school year is winding down as we approach our summer closure, a number of classes will continue to be offered through June.
