Hey comedy friends! We have a sensational month of July for you, with one of the top comedians of all time, Elayne Boozler making a rare appearance at J.R.’s.
We start the month with club favorite Don McMillan, the hi-tech comedian on July 6 and 7. Don is the only comedian working in power point. He is a former software engineer, and if you work with a computer, you do not want to miss his show. Don was a $100,000 winner on Star Search, and has been on The Tonight Show. He customizes every show and always brings some surprises to the club.
Then on July 13 and 14 we have three big shows with Elayne Boozler, one of the top comedians of all time. Elayne has been on every major comedy outlet, including HBO Specials, Comedy Central, The Tonight Show, The David Letterman Show, in addition to being an advocate for animals for many years. She is a brilliant comic, and it is a rare treat for us to have her at J.R.’s. We will have two shows on Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
On July 20 and 21 we pair up two incredible headliners including NBC Weatherman Fritz Coleman, who happens to be an Emmy award winning comedian, and has opened many times in Las Vegas for Ray Charles and many others. You will be amazed how funny and clever his material is. Also on the bill is Eric Blake, who was a huge hit at my Ventura Comedy Festival last year.
We finish the month on July 27 and 28 with a bang, bringing you the very funny Gerry Bednob, who has become a comedy icon, from his role in The 40 Year Old Virgin. You will recognize his face immediately. His comedy is hilarious and politically incorrect. So, you have a full month of amazing shows. We hope you make it for a few of them.
