It was a warm summer afternoon as the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station celebrated 40 years of service on June 28.  The current Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station opened on May 8, 1972 and has continued its service to our community, making Santa Clarita a much sought after and safe community to live in.

The Memorial Garden, a tribute to all of the fallen sheriffs in Santa Clarita, was rededicated as well.  Captain Paul Becker spoke to the large crowd and Mayor Frank Ferry and the Santa Clarita City Council thanked local sheriffs for their commitment to our community.
