A little while ago, while I was out shopping a very nice lady came up to me, and asked if I was the guy who wrote the singles column. Of course I said yes, and then she said, “So you are the Luv Doctor.” I laughed and said, “Of course I am.” She seemed very nice, so I asked if she would like to go on a date with me.
Well, she agreed to go out, and gave me her number. I called her a couple times during the week, and we had some great conversations. I enjoy joking a lot, and so did she. We set up a date for Friday night, where we met for a drink at a local restaurant. I had a great time, and I think she did, too. So I asked her out again. Of course she said yes.
This time I was able to pick her up at her place. It was a gorgeous home, and she invited me in for a drink. I took her to a local place for a drink and a live band. We were having a great time, and danced the whole night, well a couple hours anyway. Then I took her home, and received a very nice goodnight kiss. I had to see more of her. I asked to see her during the week, but she said she was busy. So I had to wait until the next weekend to see her. It was a long week waiting to see her again, but finally Friday came around and we went out again. I took her to a very nice restaurant in Los Angeles, then to a movie that I let her pick. Of course it was a girly flick, but I did not care, I was having such a good time. I was really becoming hooked on her, and again asked to see her during the week, but again she said she couldn’t. I asked why not, but she just said she was too busy during the week. We set up a date for the weekend again, and I decided I wanted to do something nice. So Wednesday after work, I picked up some flowers, and was going to leave them at her front porch. I just wanted her to know I was thinking of her. I drove over to her house, and as I was driving up, I saw her at the door in a lip lock with another guy. I kept driving and went back home with the flowers. I never called her again, but I did wonder why she could not just tell me she was seeing other guys.
