This month we celebrate the return of all time J.R.’s favorite, Craig Shoemaker, “The Lovemaster.” Craig will be with us for four big shows at the end of the month. This will be the most intimate setting you will ever be able to one of the most popular comedians in the country. These shows will sell out, so plan ahead.
We start the month off on August 3 and 4, with another favorite, Tim O’Rourke, who played Bartender Tim on The Drew Cary Show. Tim was also a writer for Sponge Bob Square Pants. Also with Tim we have Dean Larit from the cult movie The Heckler.
On August 10 to 11 we have the very funny Jeff Capri, who is one of the top club comedians in the country, always with fresh and funny takes on society.
August 17 and 18 brings back Danny Villalpando, from Comedy Central. Danny’s bit about his Boston Terrier will soon become a favorite to all dog lovers. Joining Danny is another of our very favorites, Joanie Fagan, star and founder of “3 Blonde Moms.” Joanie is the perky mom and kills it every time.
Then on August 24 to 25 we bring in Nick Lewin for the first time ever at J.R.’s Comedy Club. Nick is an internationally known and loved comedy magician. He is a staple in Las Vegas and on cruise ships, and it will be a real treat to have him at J.R.’s. Joining Nick will be Mike Malone, one of the hottest young comics in the country.
Finally, we close out the month with Craig Shoemaker, “The Lovemaster.” As I mentioned, Craig is one of the top comics in the country, with a new Showtime Special coming out very soon. He is also a favorite on Sirius XM radio, and KLOS.
